UK & EU facing goods and labour force shortage...

The UK and EU are equally struggling due to the impact of Brexit in their supply chains, as the UK is short of 100,000 truck drivers, out of which 20,000 were from the EU, who had to leave after Brexit. M& S is a trusted brand in the EU for fresh and high-standard chilled products.

While Mark's and Spencer is closing down its outlets of food in France due to the complexity of trade from the UK. According to the M&S communique, they are unable to get fresh and frozen meat which was coming from the UK now getting delayed. This forced the outlet to close down its outlets in France, whereas the Company would continue its other products sale in France.

M&S believes it won't be able to serve food as per the high standard of expectation from the brand outlets due to the delay in sourcing meat from the UK.

The suppliers in the UK blamed Brexit for the delay as they complain they are unable to get a work force to meet the demand.

Both the EU and the UK started feeling the heat of the Brexit deal in the economy.

Time will tell where they are going to draw a line to find an equilibrium in supply and demand.

IVT Global News Agency/Energy Crisis

Sanctions bite Europe. It is even more venomous toward Russia.

The energy crisis in Europe started to take its toll after the invasion of Russia into Ukraine, a military raid started by Russia. Russia always interpreted it as a military raid to paralyse or disarm Ukraine to keep Russia free from the impending threat of NATO nations. The British, who have faced high living costs since Brexit, are now feeling the heat of the sanctions as Russia forced enemy nations to pay in rubles if they needed Russian gas and oil. At the same time, gas and oil prices have increased by 35% in the last 2 months.

The energy regulator in the UK has capped the price hike by 54 dollars, and households now have to pay $2,300 extra per year. This increase will touch around 10% of the energy bill of each household, which is very heavy for the British now. Though America and, under pressure from America, the Europeans have joined in imposing sanctions against Russia, it is not Russian citizens suffering from energy scarcity but the Europeans. Besides America having enough reserves to insulate against the price hike and shortage in the market, the Europeans survive on the day-to-day supply of energy from Russia. In short, Russia is the powerhouse of Europe today, and if Russia shuts down the pipelines supplying energy to Europe, then Europe will go into darkness.

Now Britain is facing a kind of fuel famine. And the rest of Europe will start facing the same fuel poverty in the coming weeks. The lowest-income households in the UK are facing the heat of the Ukraine war after the Ukrainians. When the Ukrainians became homeless in this war, the British became powerless. Last month, Britain's power bill increased by 12%, and now it is going up like mercury.

Almost 7.5 million households in the UK will be hit by this power poverty. The annual cost of a shower in a UK household may now exceed 3,000 pounds.

There is a group in Britain that believes that global energy giants like BP are making a profit out of the energy crisis and creating wealth for themselves without having any sympathy for or social commitment to the Brits.

The time has come for nations across the world to adopt gold as a trade currency instead of using the euro and dollar green packs to reduce the frequent American high-handedness with the spasmodic sanctions and related threats. Now, the scene is that there is no one in this world to impose any sanction against America. And a regional gold bank is to be formed to pay gold. Gold is a universal currency for every nation and the US dollar and its payment gateways like SWIFT are becoming the private property of the Europeans and Americans, a small community in this world trade. Gold can act as a neutral currency instead of giving mileage to the dollar and euro, and they can use it as a veto on any nation that fails to dance to their drumbeat.

Everyone, even a kindergarten student, knows that it is American expansionist policies on the border of Russia that provoked Russia to demilitarise Ukraine. Their purpose was not to occupy Ukraine and feed them but to just keep the army-less Ukraine under the protection of the Russian army. If the army of Ukraine existed at any time, the people of Ukraine would use them to skin Russia today or tomorrow. If the purpose of Russia was to occupy territory and annex it to Russia, then Russia would have bombed the bunker where Zelensky was sitting and operating now and killed him. They don't need that bad name, the way America had in Iraq, hanging the president of the lost country, Saddam Hussain, calling him an anarchist and dictator.

Then the question in front of the conscience of the world community is, who is the real dictator?

Those who invaded Iraq? Or Saddam Hussain, who ruled a country better than Iraq is today?

We hear the silence!
